About the Role
Ark is hiring a Founding GTM Lead to help define and build the commercial engine powering a new category in biomanufacturing software.
In this role, you’ll partner directly with Ark’s founders to shape how the company reaches, engages, and serves customers—from first touchpoint to long-term success. You’ll design and operationalize our go-to-market motion, work hands-on with leading biopharma customers, and lay the foundation for scalable commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and execute Ark’s go-to-market strategy – Translate vision into scalable commercial processes and playbooks, helping Ark reach its next stage of growth.
- Drive customer engagement and success – Build deep relationships with customers, guide them through onboarding, and ensure measurable value realization.
- Operationalize excellence – Develop systems, metrics, and frameworks that streamline customer projects, onboarding, and internal coordination.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives – Align business, product, and science teams around shared customer and market objectives.
- Partner with leadership on growth strategy – Provide insights on market dynamics, customer behavior, and commercial performance to inform strategic decisions.
- Own feedback loops – Capture customer insights and translate them into strategic recommendations for product and business evolution.
- Build for scale – Develop GTM infrastructure, tools, and processes that evolve from founder-led to repeatable motion.
About You
- 4–8 years of experience in management consulting, customer success, operations, or GTM strategy — ideally with exposure to biotech, life sciences, or advanced technology.
- Exceptional communicator and relationship-builder, comfortable engaging executives, scientists, and engineers alike.
- Strategic operator — can zoom out to define strategy and zoom in to drive flawless execution.
- Deeply analytical and structured thinker who thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and eager to build something foundational.
- Familiarity with biotech or digital R&D tools is a plus, but passion for transforming how science gets done matters more.
Position
Type: Full-time, exempt
Location: Cambridge, MA (in-person Monday–Thursday)
Travel: Short domestic and international trips (~3 nights per month)
