A digital twin for
your whole plant

An army of agents watches every bioreactor and every handoff between steps. They see problems coming, and when something fails anyway, they re-plan the rest of the plant around it. Your team makes the call.

Talk to us

One twin, every step

Every step of your plant in one model, and every handoff between them. A daily sample tells you where your batch was yesterday. A slow seed train eats into production bioreactor time, and a high-titer batch can strain purification. Today these problems surface one step at a time, a day late. Ark models each unit operation and how it feeds the next, so the agents see how a problem in one step will land in the steps after it.

See it coming

Every batch is forecast hours to days ahead, within each step and across the whole line.

Re-plan when something breaks

Some failures can’t be prevented. When one happens, the agents re-optimize what comes next: the rest of the batch, the steps downstream and the schedule.

Built on your plant’s rules

Every recommendation respects your control strategy, licensed ranges, equipment and production schedule.

What your plant gets

Fewer deviations

pH probe drift, glucose running low, cells growing slower than expected. Agents catch these as they start, often days before they would become a deviation, and every alert comes with a recommended response.

Faster investigations

When a deviation does happen, the digital twin replays the batch in simulation and tests the likely causes. Your team gets to the root cause sooner and spends less time writing it up.

More capacity

...without building any. Every batch that runs clean, on schedule and at higher titer is capacity you didn’t have to build. Agents keep finding those gains within your licensed limits, and get sharper with every batch.

The shift

From reacting to seeing ahead: A daily sample tells you where your batch was yesterday. A lot can go wrong in a day. Decisions made early in a run show up as problems days later. By then, a lost batch can cost millions, and the investigation costs weeks more.

Ark’s digital twin follows every batch continuously and forecasts where it’s heading, hours to days ahead. Nobody has to watch a dashboard. When something starts to drift, even at 2 a.m. on a Sunday, the agents test the possible responses in simulation and send your team an alert with a recommended plan. Your team makes the call.

Ark in Action

“Really impressive work Ark has been doing with the team.”

Executive Director, Global Technical Operations, global biopharma

Glucose depletion, prevented. At one commercial plant, cell growth varied enough from batch to batch that runs kept running out of glucose. Problems started by early feed decisions only showed up late in the run. Ark forecasted glucose days ahead and told operators when to sample so the right feed would trigger. Depletion was prevented, lactate stayed low and pH stayed in range.

The best run in a product’s history. A commercial process had run the same way at large scale for years. Using only commercial-scale data, Ark found improvements that standard statistical analysis had missed, all within licensed limits. The confirmation run delivered the best titer the process had ever produced, at any scale.

“Best run ever. Celebrating Ark!”

Built for GMP

Ark keeps your process inside its licensed limits.

Runs alongside your process

Start in shadow mode, observing and recommending without touching your validated process.

Human-driven decisions

Ark suggests. Your team decides.

Every decision on the record

Each recommendation, outcome and operator decision is logged, consistent with 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11.

It understands your process

Statistical tools can only flag what your history has already seen. Ark’s model is built on the physics and biology of your process, so it can forecast the batch your history doesn’t cover.
